We do not think that it is in the interest of industry or society that very qualified job applicants need to miss job opportunities because they lack the tools and information required to demonstrate their abilities.

Our Story

Resume Mapper, Inc. is the result of the collaboration of a team of human resources and recruiting experts, linguists, mathematicians and software developers.

The need for a program like Resume Mapper was realized by our chief software developer when she noticed that often rejection emails would be in her inbox seemingly as soon as she had released the mouse button  sending her resume to a potential employer. She knew that she was very good at her profession and could not understand why she was getting rejected and ignored so often.

She was particularly concerned with the speed with which her applications were being rejected. There just could not be that many people out there that were so much more qualified than her.

When she shared her experiences with a former co-worker and human resource department director, she was surprised to learn that most HR departments used automated systems to screen and perform the initial evaluation of applicants.

She thought this put a lot of job seekers like her at a disadvantage.  In a sense to her it felt unfair that you could be rejected  by a program when you did not even know the criteria used by the program to evaluate your qualifications for a position.   

She realized that other job seekers like her would be helped if they just had a tool that could "think" like the automated screening programs. 

With the enthusiastic backing of a team with vision and a commitment to helping well qualified workers get the jobs they deserve Resume Mapper, Inc. was formed.
